Winter Wedding Inspiration- Red and Gray!

It's the most wonderful time of the year!  The snow has fallen and the twinkle lights are glistening here at Tapestry House!  In honor of our new series of posts on our Facebook page, we have complied some pictures to inspire you while planning a winter wedding!  One of our favorite color combinations (which seems to be very popular this year I should add!) is gray, white, and red!  The red really pops against the stark white background of snow-covered grounds and the gray makes me think of snow and icicles on the trees.  Here's what we put together!

The top left corner shows the color palette of gray and red that we were talking about earlier.  The red really pops against their bridesmaid dresses!  Next to that, there is a new idea for a twist on the traditional guest book!  Instead of having guests sign a book, each guest (or family) signs an ornament with their names and some advice/ a note for the bride and groom!  This is something that the couple can treasure forever and reread every year while decorating their Christmas tree!  The frosted white from the tree and the red ornaments ties into the color scheme.  The top right corner shows a beautiful, unique bridal bouquet that we absolutely LOVE!  The red berries and gray pinecones give it a wintery feel and really pop against the white flowers!  It really ties into the rest of the vision.  The wedding gown in the center is a beautiful, strapless A-line dress with lots of beading.  The sparkles on the dress make me think of falling snowflakes and ice, giving it a winter feel.  All it needs is a little wrap for when you go outside for photos!  The cake in the bottom left corner uses the gray details with pops of red flowers so that the red doesn't overwhelm the cake.  Want more red?  Try having one of the layers of cake be a red velvet flavor!  The bottom right corner has a gorgeous pair of heels in a cream color.  The flower details on them match the floral detail on the wedding gown, although you might want them in a different color so that they match the dress a bit more.  Hopefully, this inspiration board helps you in choosing the details of your own winter wedding!  Happy planning!
